Active parent involvement and participation in the game is highly supported by the club. The Junior Section is always looking for volunteers, coaches and committee members. If you wish to volunteer your services please don't hesitate to let us know.

​LEAGUE AGE CHART LINK

Minor League Machine Pitch (beginners baseball)
Must be 7, 8, 9 & 10 years old - Any candidate with amateur status who will attain the age of 7 and who will not attain the age of 11 before this date. (see League Age Chart above)

​Schedule: Friday 5:30pm (1 hour) at Tom Bateman Reserve 1, Wilfred Rd, Thornlie for home games.

Machine Pitch State Championship Team: The club will only enter a team if there is at least a minimum of 10 players available to compete in the Easter tournament. Players must be committed to play in the Minor League Machine Pitch competition for the entire season to be eligible to try out for this team.

Players between the age of 7 and 10 years old move onto the next stage, Minor League Machine Pitch. This competition features modified rules to suit the age group and for the development of players so they will be ready and confident when they cross over to Little League.

Club Uniform

  • Protective cup - mandatory for males
  • Mouthguard - optional

How the pitching machine works

  • Load a ball onto the arm
  • Pull back the lever, and the arm release will deliver the ball towards the hitter
  • The speed of the pitch is adjusted by setting the spring pin on the foot lever mechanism

Club Fee - $100 + Baseball WA Fee $33.00
